I’ve been having a sort of uninspiring week, but after an amazing workout this morning, I came home to find a surprise Olympic-themed package from Topshop waiting outside my doorstep!
As far as the pricing to quality ratio goes, I find Topshop to have some of the best affordable product around, so I’m always thrilled to try their new things. Their lipstick formula is seriously awesome, and I think I’ve found my new staple color in this slightly sheer orangey-red. Plus, my nails were looking BEAT after a particularly long weekend of waiting tables, so this was a great motivation to redo them.

Maybe it’s just because it’s the middle of July and I’ve had enough of the typical summery polish colors, but I can NOT stop obsessing over the OPI Fall/Winter Germany Collection. That gray? That burgundy? That mauve? Oh man.
Don’t worry, samples are on their way, so I’ll post some swatches soon!

Sorry about being completely MIA for about a month — I was busy settling in to my new place/job in Brooklyn! I’m finally moved in and finally have to get dressed up for an event today. It’s about a thousand degrees in the city right now, but my roommate was nice enough to lend me this lovely flowy blouse, so I don’t die of heat exhaustion on the subway.
On the one hand, I’m really excited about the new OPI mini pack of neons because hello, neons. On the other hand, I think I have all these colors from OPI already.
Still, it could be great to have a mini clear to take with me when I travel!
The mini pack will be available starting in July, retailing for about $20.
